steampunk treasure boxes

These boxes reflect my wonder about distressed materials that I have combined to make mysterious, crudely hand-made, aged looking containers that look as if they might have come from a Victorian era inventor. I have made them from scrap wood, rusted, re-shaped scrap metal and repurposed mechanical parts. They should be handled carefully as I’ve deliberately made them to my own aesthetic of edginess, rough edges or pointed parts. My boxes are made for adults as art works that have a slightly functional use.  They might be used as a container to hold small items should the collector wish to do so.
